Nocht De Taterkin is a short story set in The Wizard Tim universe that was first published in the potato themed anthology The Taternomicon on .

The story continues the saga of Tim, picking up where the end of The Wizard Tim leaves off. After the catastrophe in Myrmidon, Tim is released into the charge of an old friend, and is tasked with the rebuilding of Halfass. However, he finds something much more sinister waiting for him in the charred remains of his old home.
